Name: Henshir Mallhahn
Age: 17
Grade: Junior
Weight: 145
Height: 5'11
Nationality: America
Ethnicity: Roughly 25% Russian, diluted with 75% American through generations.
Hair: Henshir has brown, medium lengthed hair. He keeps it combed down, rather stylishly. Henshir's hair tends to get wild easily though, and can be flying all over the place during a battle.
Eye color: Henshir has two creamy brown eyes.
Appearance: Henshir has a very muscular build, as well as very broad shoulders. Though, he doesn't seem to be too keen on showing it off. As for apparel, Henshir generally goes purely professional. Henshir has always believed that, in an educational environment, one should present themselves with a certain amount of class. Thus, he is usually found in a dark gray loose-fitting suit, buttoned up with a red tie tucked down behind his black jacket. During particularly sunny days, he wore a pair of thin-rimmed shades. The kind only slightly tinted. Pertaining to accessories, Henshir could always be found with his silver watch, and cell phone on him. Also, he is generally armed with a pen, should a situation call for someone to write something down.
Personality: Henshir, finds himself feeling out of place with the majority of the student-body. He doesn't like to involve himself with those who simply watch the violence and distractions of the school and do nothing. See, Henshir is not at all concerned with the politics, or the drama behind the school, corporal punishment, the gangs, or individual students. He has a one-tracked mind, as he always has had. He is concerned purely with his education. His only dispute with the violence going on in the school is that it detracts from the learning environment he had hoped to achieve while he made his way up to university. With all these teacher beating students, and students beating students, there are too many distractions. Thus, Henshir generally tends to defuse situations like these by force. Be it a teacher, or the student causing a nuisance, Henshir simply will make sure they know of their troubles. Though, he doesn't necessarily not get along with troublemakers. He understands sometimes a teacher can be too incompetent to control a class, and the students take advantage, as they should to have a mental break. It is those who actually try and gain attention for their actions, rather than doing it for fun or just a good time that irritates him.
When it boils down to it, Henshir is a pretty nice guy. He is sociable, gets along with most people, has no trouble showing other people respect, and can appreciate another persons company. He's very logical, in that he knows he can get no where by himself. Only by the support of friends and allies can he hope to build himself the bonds it takes to survive such a hostile school. Henshir is quite interested in training in the martial arts, and furthering past training he has already had. Therefore, a spar outside of school hours, or if not, off school property will be excepted so long as it doesn't conflict with his schedule.
In a general sense, Henshir is disgusted with the place where society has allowed itself to drift to, particularly in the educational system. Although he does not display these thoughts through action, nor does he express them to others, they alway pick at the back of his mind.
History: Henshir was born into a somewhat average middle-class family. His parents had been completely prepared for him, having even made special arrangements so that he would be born a male. Of course, this was his father's decision to have made. However, as a successful Lawyer, he wanted to have someone to succeed him and continue to respect the family name. In fact, by the first week after Henshir was conceived, his father had already started putting away money to pay for boarding school, and for university fees. Of course, the mother was in on this plan as well. Perhaps not as eager to have a super-successful son as his father was, but none-the-less she had no complaints.
Growing up, Henshir had gained some interesting achievements in his most early years. Every night Henshir's mother would read to him, and generally any chance they got they tried to teach him the alphabet. For example, whenever they drove somewhere, Henshir's mother would sit back with him and teach him the alphabet. Well, he had learned to read by the time he was 2 years old, which seemed quite impressive. Another strange quirk observed, was his quick learning of how to walk. In fact, he had learned how to walk before he learned how to crawl. He was defiantly destined to become and overachiever, and he seemed to be that way. Henshir had achieved something phenomenal (as far as his parents were concerned), as he had learned the basics of addition and subtraction before he entered kindergarten.
Throughout his elementary school life, Henshir was quite well praised by his teachers. He was always participating in class, and focused without running around and causing trouble like the other students. Sure, occasionally he found himself in a little trouble. But this was much less frequent than an average boy his age, which impressed his father even more. By the time Henshir was in grade six, he had his own room set aside for doing homework. It was his work desk, with a computer, room to do work, his own mechanical pencil sharper, notebooks, and a few dictionaries. His father and him would go through cue-cards together, as he studied further into his subjects than the rest of his class was. He found it nearly impossible to not get an A on the assignment as he had simply memorized every question by the time they were first introduced.
Boarding school was another story, at least environment-wise. In elementary, Henshir had been under the impression that high school is when everyone around him would mature. He was disappointed to find quite the opposite. It was almost as if the moment you walked into a high school, 60% of the population suddenly caught a mysterious "stupid-disease". It was rather sickening. Henshir took it to himself to start getting more serious, his dad purchasing him his own suitcase for his work and sending him to school in a suit every day. Though, Henshir's father was not at all stupid. He knew that the boarding school was more relaxed than most schools, and Henshir would stand out in such formal attire. Thus in the summer before high school Henshir was placed into an extremely expensive three year long training course. It consisted off extensive converge of two martial arts in particular. Aiki-jujitsu, and Muay Thai. Along with this, came a very elaborate fitness plan, consisting of marathon-lengthed runs, four-hour long weight sessions, and the like. Henshir didn't care, as he knew it would look good on his resume for any job that he may want to accomplish in his future.
During the first, and most of the beginning of the second year of high school Henshir's opinion about some of the people around him began to deteriorate. Not necessarily the people personally, but the behavior that society had deemed acceptable and how people were reacting to this. These negative feelings gave him somewhat of a blotch in his personality, whereas a need to release anger was created. Henshir seemed to have found this when he found himself constantly distracted by the corporal punishment and fights going on in his school. Of course they were not as frequent as Hallen, however they were still enough to bother him. This is when he made his biggest mistake, at the end of his sophomore year.
Mr. Kashar, Henshir's math teacher at the time had gone off on one of his many stories about he and his golfing buddies. So much so, that he neglected to give the class notes for a long period of time in the class. Henshir sat there tapping his pencil, but after forty long minutes he finally spoke up in protest. When his teacher came over to try and silence him, he made quick work of his teachers. Not sparing him as he sent him tumbling through a large amount of desks. After a few more teachers came in and soon found themselves lying on the ground in aching pain, Henshir found himself kicked out of the school, to his father's dismay. He either had to go to a student correctional center, which would would then have on his record for life, or go to Hallen High and attempt to get a decent high school grade in that environment. Though it wasn't as perfect as it was planned, Henshir's father was relieved to have another chance at him going to university. Thus sending him to Hallen High.
Fighting Style: A hybrid between the styles Aiki-jujitsu, and Muay Thai.
Aiki-jujitsu is a form of Japanese jujitsu, focusing particularly on the Aikido aspect in it. It deals with angles, touches on some minor nerves, teaches throws grab and interesting counters.
Muay Thai, is considered one of the most brutal martial arts available to be taught. It focuses on hard blocks, brutal strikes, interesting counters and a deadly use of the legs, arms, elbows, knees, and body.
Thus, Henshir mainly stands up, getting himself into a stance and either going fully offense or fully defense. He can attack with ferocity, slamming hard into limbs attempting to make his opponent unable to fight, as oppose to forcing him to submit. He also has amazing counters, getting out of the way and close to his opponent at the same time, with a ferocious strike to throw in. A deadly combination indeed.
Strengths: Henshir is very physically fit, and definitely suited to fight. However his main strength when it comes to combat is sheer skill. The ability in which he counters, attacks, plans his attacks, and comes in for the final blow is far above average. He is quite technical when it comes down to fighting, and is very good at preserving his energy.
Weaknesses: Henshir is quite good at preserving his energy for a reason, and that is his endurance is quite a large weakness of his. It's not so much that he over works himself, but when it comes to exerting a full amount of energy for too long he is simply wiped out afterward. This comes from his habit of smoking cigars, as his lungs are not as well-kept as other peoples. Should Henshir be lead into being angered, or be forced to continue fighting longer than he expected to be often he finds himself getting tired, slowing down, hitting weaker and paying for it dearly.
