Name: Daniel Wai.
Alias: Fist of the Eastern Wind
Age: 15
Grade: Sophomore
Weight: 175 lbs
Height: Five feet eight inches.
Nationality: United States.
Ethnicity: White and Mexican half-bred.
Hairstyle: Short cut, jet black hair, not any particular
style, but if long enough will comb it to look presentable.
Eye Color: Clear Blue eyes, noting out of the ordinary, except when interrogating someone they will narrow and become cold.
Appearance: Daniels' appearance is somewhat odd for a kid his age these days. He was a well built body though thin has well formed muscles and strong legs. He prefers to wear black and sometimes white shirts, a thin black jacket that goes down to his waist. Blue or black jeans with a black leather belt. and those kung fu slip on shoes with white socks. He also likes to wear an old black and blue bandanna that says Eastern Fist. Will dress formally if needed, but only in black.
Personality: Daniels personality is a very balanced one. He believes in honor and making sure that justice is always preserved, ever since he was young he was taught that. Cares deeply for his family, especially his three other brothers. A kind hearted person who wants to be a great detective, and prove that martial arts was mans greatest creation. Though with new people he might be hard to get close too, he likes to be by himself sometimes.
History: Daniel is the third born out of three other brothers. All of them are orphans though. Daniel and his brothers never knew of their parents, his two oldest still have a picture of them though. Daniel has a recurring memory though, of him and his brothers being left on a doorstep in the cliche fashion. There from their cries were the found by their adoptive Grandfather Wai Fei Hong. The man not having any children took them in and raised them as his own.
After years he found the boys always needing an outlet for their overabundant energy and decided that martial arts would be the key. Mr. Wai was a master but he saw it would be better that they learn other arts before he taught them what he knew. So he took them all to different schools of martial arts. Daniel was taken to train in the style of Xing Yi, and studied it for years. It wasn't until he hit the age of thirteen did his grandfather decide to train him in his art. The fist of the four winds.
Daniel was taught the style of the Eastern wind, a fighter of this branch needed to be of kind mind and spirit, as well as a good build and decisive mind. After a year Daniel had already got the basics and the intermediate parts down, and was well on his way as a master as were his brothers, but after the years went on his brothers began to leave. First his two eldest and his youngest. He has made no contact with them, but still holds them very dear. One night his grandfather called to him. He told him that his brothers were right to leave, that their arts were made for them to train on their own now.
And that it was Daniels turn to do the same. Daniel left his grandfathers home and has now set up residence at Hallen Highs town. He hopes to see his brothers again though and hopes they are fine.
Fighting Style: Daniel uses both Xing Yi: A form of Chinese Kung Fu created by an imperial General named Yue Fei. It is an art that focuses on tearing muscles, breaking bones all around taking an opponent out permanently. It also stresses the use of technique, and internal energy from positioning ones body to use opposing body energies to create explosive power. ground work is also stressed to take an opponent out on the ground using chokes, groin attacks, chokes and a variety of others, weapons training is also taught in this, Daniel taking up the art of the Dao(Broadsword) but much more partial to the staff. He is now a green sash in the arts
And Fist of the Eastern Wind: This was one of the branches of the Fist of the Four Winds style his Grandfather taught him and his brothers. The Eastern Fist stresses both footwork and punching, focusing on internal energy more than external as does all styles of Kung Fu. Ground work with this style is rather limited ranging from choke holds to bone breaks but he knows few of those. His weapon that was given to him in this art was a long solid oakwood staff from hundred year old oak tree he cut down with his grand father.
Strengths: Daniel was taught to have an all round well kept body, he focused alot on improving his stamina through rigorous training and sparring with his family. He focused alot on his speed, technique, and precision of his attacks thinking that strength was not always the answer.
Weaknesses: Daniel focuses alot on stamina, speed, precision and technique, but lacks a bit when it comes to battles of strength. Though quite strong against a extremely built opponent he would have a difficult time indeed.
