The items are a little unique here so pay attention.
You may only have five items on your character at any time. This includes:
One piece of headgear. (headbands, hats, glasses, earrings, etc.)
One torso item. (shirts, jackets, capes, etc.)
One arm-oriented item. (Wristbands, arm guards, gloves, etc.)
One leg item. (Pants, belts, shin guards, kneepads, etc.)
And one foot item. (Shoes, boots, yeah.)
The items you have are ALL custom created by YOU the member. You may choose what it looks like, what it's called, and with each 1000$ dollars you have you may add one stat point increase to your item on whatever stat you like. HOWEVER once you create your item it may NOT be edited. You may not add more stat points to it once you have bought it so choose wisely because you may not sell or refund any items. You may buy more and choose to equip it rather than the first item, but then you wasted your money on the first.
In order to get an item you must post in the Item requests sub board in the Item board with the following layout:
Item Type: Headgear, Torso, etc.
Item Name: Whatever you want
Item effect: Each point will cost 1000$ you can make both stats all with one point or add all to one stat or mix-match.
Description of Appearance: This actually is quite important. You must have an item that looks like something that would increase the stats it is effecting. If you are creating a mental item, you shouldn't have huge steel arm guards. Or for a physical item you wouldn't want a pair of glasses, get it?
Then wait for your item to be approved and your money will be taken away according to cost.
