Name: Andrew Nex Selkei
Age: 17
Grade: Junior
Weight: 164 lb
Height: 6'2"
Nationality: Russian, American.
Ethnicity: German (40%), Russian (60%).
Hair: Black, shoulder length in the back, parted over his left eye, flows backward smoothly. Around the bottom it naturally curls upward.
Eye color: He has sharp blue eyes, with contacts that turn them a teal color.
Appearance: His appearance has two generalities about it, one is that his clothes are easy to move in allowing him to do whatever he feels like doing at the time, and the other is that what he wears is completely nondescript. It will be solid color, unlabeled, with no picture on it, and rarely will there be any form of a design. His hands are almost always covered in black biking gloves simply as a form of protection he's gotten used to. Oh, and third one: He will almost always be in long sleeve shirts and pants to mask his skin.
His face is matured and usually set with a flat line of a mouth. He portrays little emotion on the average, for a reason of course, but puts on displays of it near friends. It's quite easy to tell what he's feeling, but only when it's showing. In a fight, or during the normal school day, he'll simply act without betraying intentions. His blue eyes send a piercing gaze almost all the time, even when he's laughing. His body is toned and in a nicely fit condition from years of various sports, muscularly endurant and relatively strong.
Under his shirt he has a web of scars all over his body, and looks literally like a broken window pane underneath his shirt. He has a long gash along his back that predominates most though, going from the top of his right shoulder down a diagonal line to slash alone his hip bone and down his leg. His body is also a...genetic oddity. His bones can shift to a degree, causing normally pain, but it's sometimes good because he can then reset bones. This shows as the joints are scarred as well from bones spiking out, as well as several crater like scars where bones snapped out.
Personality: Andrew suffers from several mental illnesses, whether they can be attributed to what he's seen and done, not many know. Originally, he was a determined youth, driven simply to experiment with life and find out what his possibilities were, like most spirited children and teenagers. He kept in active shape not out of vanity or pride, but simply because he was competitive and wanted to keep any advantages he could. A nearly one tracked person, he will focus his attention on one thing at a time and excel with that one thing.
However, at some point his mind simply snapped and made some connections about the world. Since whenever that was, he's come to terms with death, emotion, and people, as well as gained several mental problems, including partial D.I.D, a form of apathy, insomnia that makes it damn hard to fall asleep, a small form of O.C.D involving his steps and his fingers, and some blanked sections of memory.
History: Born with three siblings, two he would distantly know and one that separated from the family early on. He was named Nex out of a whim from both parents, to be a unique name for their child. Born in Russia, he lived there for three years, learning English though as his parents long since planned to move. They didn't have an area picked out, but planned to start in California and work their way around from there. In the three years he lived in Russia, his eldest brother, ten years before him, would harbor a distinct want to go back when they did move. His two sisters wouldn't know the difference, closer to his age. All he knew was that he was going from an incredibly cold climate, to a nice tropical, well close to it, one.
His elementary teachers absolutely loved him. He learned quickly, adapting to each subject in his own ways. He seemed to memorize only the basic principles of things, then spin off his own solutions. He'd invariably gone from basic multiplication to rapid fast addition of a number a certain number of times, then addition became finding multiplications that would gather the same thing. Math was a game to him. Having learned English while growing up for three years around Russian, of which he knows basics and constantly learns alongside English, he had an easy time going with it, already knowing grammar, punctuation, spelling, inflection, and many other subjects. He always hated History and Geography though.
Age six, he started into sports. Immediately he went through soccer, it was rather fun. His vicissitude meant he was everywhere. His focus became the ball, or the one slugging it with their feet down the field. Generally he was the center mid, allowed the greatest freedom of the players to do what he wanted. Three years in a row his team won almost every game, losing the first one or two on purpose to learn how others played. He kept up with soccer whenever he could, building endurance in his body as well as changing his mind to single track focus.
Graduating elementary with highest honors and near perfect grades, there was always a History class for some reason, he moved to Junior High with the same things in mind. Seventh grade his vision started going, only a very small amount though and held steady there, at 19/18. He's been wearing contacts, not as a choice for appearance, but practicality for him, as with some sports contacts can be left in without as much worry of falling off. He's only lost a contact once, and that was when a ball slammed into his forehead. He still got a goal off it.
Grade eight the fighting started. At first he was the target of one guy wanting to beat the crap out of everybody, but when he lost bullies started coming up and trying their own luck. After three such fights he nearly destroyed the last bully to attack him, breaking both arms, some ribs, and their knee. The kid's head also had massive trauma and he was put in a coma. Charged with assault, he pleaded not guilty by reason of self defense. He even had roughly thirty people able to vouch for the fact that he took the first hit.
Cleared from that, he continued his retinue of sports, at this point consisting of soccer, basketball, flag football ((He didn't want to be breaking more bones, possibly his as well)), and baseball.
He graduated his school with decent grades, mainly B's with some A's grouped in there. Upon graduation his body was starting it's formation of scars. He'd only broken two bones, one in his arm, and then his shoulder. His body though repaired them faster than a doctor expected, showing a higher number of cells dedicated in his body to constantly creating and fixing his bones. This was partially because of how his bones shifted in his body, he was able to pull them in odd angles, even bend them, but only to two degree shifts at most. Strong bones they were, but that meant breaks were painful as hell. Both breaks spiked out of the skin, leaving ridges and deep spiked cone scars.
His first year at his seemingly adequate high school brought him naught but fights. His reputation meant that he was the target of everyone trying to push their name through the school. His floated about freely, as did his appearance. Short sleeve shirts and shorts, when worn, reveal what his body makes up, his own historical hell. Freshman year brought him over sixty fights, twenty of which got broken up by teachers because he was just standing there avoiding all attacks out of boredom. Six ended with students having massive trauma, twelve with snapped arms, four with all limbs broken, one with a coma, and another with death. He wasn't pressed on any charges of course, it was all self-defense at it's finest. The kid who died though, had a blade on him, and his last attack was a dragging of that across Andrew's back and down his side, to his foot, giving him a long scar that would cause him to skip the beginning month of Sophomore year to go through Physical therapy.
Sophomore year he went through the same thing, only this time people left him well enough alone unless they were Freshman. Everyone by now knew his record. They'd even known how his last fight ended, despite being slashed open with a knife. His record got out to so many people, parents started actually getting involved. For some reason, he was seen as the enemy here, the one fighting everyone else. He was asked to leave school by a group of parents. He refused, saying all he wanted was to graduate. They kept assaulting his house, waking him and his family up in the middle of the night to try and annoy them to leave. Cops were called, groups left, but it kept happening. Eventually, he started learning to goad people into fighting. Why? So he could destroy the children of those parents so they'd leave him alone.
Two kids admitted to the hospital in one day, and the visits stopped. He graduated that year and voluntarily left. Now he was being sent to another school. One called Hallen High.
Fighting Style: His fighting style is all his own, based on his own judgments at the time of the fight. His training would be the past fights he's been through, the beatings he's taken to learn how things work, and his main offensive element is his speed. Mainly in a fight, he'll work with his hands to distract someone, then use his legs to break their guard and destroy their body.
His basic strategy comes from moving quickly and chaining attacks so his momentum builds up and stays at a constant level to hammer away at his opponents. Using counter-attacks effectively he can reverse the attack and chip at his enemy, which makes him good in a lone assault. Against one person he can take his time and destroy them, he doesn't have a stamina problem with his sports record.
Strengths: Andrew has a single track mind in fighting, basing his mind on one person. This allows him to focus a bit better than some people might, filtering background noise and actions out. He is adaptive due to his past experiences, using old attacks and simple new ones he makes up out of boredom, inspiration, or adjusting to people's rhythms, and will often change how he fights within minutes of each other. Due to his body having an abnormal amount of Osteoblasts, and their paired Osteoclasts, his body creates bones quicker, leaving them thicker than average. This means that bones don't snap quite as easily, though they still will with sufficient force, and when they do, they heal slightly faster, generally two-six days quicker depending on the bone broken.
Weaknesses: His mind shutting out the outside world leaves him completely open to anyone else attacking him. Someone could be yelling and charging him from behind, and he wouldn't know. Also with himself changing styles, while it becomes difficult for his opponent to read, he never really adapts to his opponent's way of fighting. He could potentially do something stupid. His new 'moves' tend to be simple changes, thus easily defeated as they normally were. Also, because he isn't physically strong and tends to use speed for momentum to compensate, in small areas where he cannot move around, he lacks any real power to his attacks besides their quick repetition. With regard to his bones, despite being maybe an eight of a centimeter thicker, they are still breakable. The extra content to the bones though makes it so when they snap, they have a tendency to break out of the skin and bleed him like crazy. Generally whenever this happens, he's lost the fight immediately due to the pain almost instantly knocking him out.
